'The Hirsel': A Scottish term for a flock of sheep on a farm (generally on a hill) which are looked after by one shepherd. Traditionally this was 400-600 ewes.

Located in an elevated position within the picturesque village of Portpatrick.
While set amidst tranquil surroundings with beautiful views of the village,
it is still only a short walk to the
seafront and harbour area, where there
are a variety of shops, bars, restaurants and other local amenities.

BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Number of Occupants
The number of occupants must not exceed the number stated in the original
booking.
Care of Accommodation
The tenant agrees that care must be taken whilst in occupation of the house.
The house, garden and surrounding areas are to be kept in a reasonable state
of
cleanliness and tidiness during stay and any reasonable mess made good before
departure.
Noise
We ask that normal neighbourliness be displayed during your stay.
Breakages/Damage to Property and Contents
Any breakages or damages incurred during your stay should be made good.
Tenants agree to inform the owner of such and to pay for like replacements.
Duration of Stay
Rentals will be taken from Saturday to Saturday.
The property will be available from 14:00hrs on the day of arrival and should
be vacated by 10:00hrs on the day of departure.
Short breaks are available by
arrangement out with peak holiday times.
Deposits
A 1/3 deposit is payable at the time of booking. The balance is to be paid by
6 weeks prior to your arrival.
Cancellations will be accepted up to 12 weeks prior to your stay with a full
refund.
Cancellations between 12 and 6 weeks will result in loss of deposit
and within 6 weeks loss of the full amount.
Bookings made within 6 weeks of
the date of arrival should be accompanied by full payment.
Disclaimer
The owners, employees and any staff do not and will not accept any third party
liability. You are advised to ensure
that you have adequate insurance to cover such eventualities.
ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE ARRANGEMENTS
Arrival from 2pm - Keys can be collected at Campbell’s Restaurant between
2pm & 3pm or after 6pm. Otherwise by arrangement.
Departure 10am -
There is a £50.00 breakages deposit payable on arrival, returnable on departure if no damage has occurred.
TARIFF
Accommodation costs range from £200.00-£500.00 per week during low to high
season.
Short breaks also available by arrangement, except during peak holiday
periods.
A deposit of 1/3 of the cost should be paid on reserving the property and
the balance paid in full 6 weeks prior to
date of arrival. The full payment is to be made if reservation is less than
6 weeks in advance.
Cancellations made prior to 12 weeks receive full refund.
